I first took an interest in modern music at school, learning to sing and play a six string guitar. By the age of fifteen, I was playing in my first band, The Ivory Fashion, doing regular weekly gigs

A couple of years later, in my next band, I met Alan, the drummer. We went on to form the Gastric Band, a three piece band, based in Cheshire.

Over the years we had various band names and members and it was a great era for learning the chart songs including the Beatles, Rolling Stones and the Kinks etc

I originally sang backing vocals and played guitar in a previous band, progressing to lead singer playing a five string bass guitar.

Music has played a great part in my life and enabled me to travel to many places in the UK playing in various venues and meeting some interesting people. Now I have joined the Charlie Farley band, once again playing bass guitar and singing backing vocals.
