For me, it all started back in the fifties watching the likes of Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis on the TV. Rock and Roll was beckoning. Not until I reached my teens did I get the urge to actually play the music. It was Hank Marvin (Shadows) particularly, but when ‘You Really Got Me’ by the Kinks was released I was hooked!
I was lucky enough to receive my first guitar soon after – I have never looked back since.
As I am fortunate in having a varied taste in music it has given me the opportunity of playing in a variety of covers bands over the years, loving every minute.

A few years back I treated myself to a custom made “Gus” guitar which is midi enabled and feel I am now in heaven and enjoying playing more than ever.
2023, I had the pleasure of becoming a member of the CHARLIE FARLEY band, getting back together with old friends and meeting some brilliant new ones, (not that the old friends aren’t brilliant). Playing music with like minded, friendly people is the best medicine available.
